Mrs Jordan, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Background
Mrs Jordan's exiting bathroom was badly laid out and didn’t suit her requirements. There was a bath with a bath lift, but as a wheelchair user Mrs Jordan found this hard to use. She needed a bathroom that was suitable for her to manoeuvre her wheelchair around whilst remaining functional and easy to use. She came to Easibathe with this problem and they provided a solution.
Project
Easibathe created a full wet room featuring a floor slab to create a wet floor area which was covered with specialist slip resistant flooring. Half height carer screens were also installed. Clos-o-mat automatic toilets were fitted in both the bathroom and small downstairs toilet. Other features included a wall fitted folding shower seat and grab rails.
Outcome
The new bathroom provides Mrs Jordan with a space in which she can manoeuvre her wheelchair, shower easily as the shower seat has folding arms that will allow for a side transfer and the half height screen provide privacy. The job was completed in just over a week, which included fitting the downstairs Clos-o-mat toilet.

Testimonial
“Being disabled this wet room is ideal for me. It just makes my life so much easier. It is an absolute pleasure to use.
Easibathe are an amazing team, I’ve never come across a set of workers this good, the way they all worked together was brilliant and they were so organised. They were very helpful and informative and kept me updated with what was going on the whole time, which is very rare these days! The team cleaned up after themselves, worked nonstop, were very professional and always courteous, polite and friendly. I can’t compliment them enough, I’m so happy with what they’ve done.”
